Jackson Parish – Press Release

Daniel W. Newell, District Attorney in and for the Second Judicial District, issues the following press release regarding the session of criminal court held on Tuesday, October 6, 2020.  The Honorable Bruce Bolin, District Judge, presiding:

PAUL BOLES – Pled guilty, as charged, to possession of a Schedule IV controlled dangerous substance.  He was sentenced to one year at hard labor.  The sentence was suspended and he was placed on supervised probation for a period of one year.  He was ordered to pay fines and costs. 

RICKY LARUE – Pled guilty to possession of a Scheduled II controlled dangerous substance.  He was sentenced to eighteen months at hard labor.   The sentence was suspended and he was placed on supervised probation for a period of eighteen months. He was ordered to pay a fine and costs.  

LYNETTE WEST – Pled guilty as charged to exploitation of person with infirmities. She was sentenced to three years hard labor.  The sentence was suspended and she was placed on three years supervised probation.  She was ordered to pay fines, costs and restitution to the victim.  

DONNIE WYRICK – Pled guilty to possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance. He was sentenced to eighteen months at hard labor.  The sentence was suspended and he was placed on eighteen months supervised probation.  He was ordered to pay fines and costs.
